OBJECTIVES OF THE WELFARE COMMITTEE

1. To help the poor and needy towards treatment of any minor or major illness.
2. To facilitate visit / admission to the hospital and treatment of the very poor patients.
3. To procure medicine for the poor people in sicknesses like T.B, Cancer, etc.

The idea is to create a fund by inviting contributions of any amount from the affluent & well off residents of the village. This fund shall then be utilized to help the very needy and poor residents of the village who cannot afford costly treatments or medicines. 

FUTURE OBJECTIVES OF THE WELFARE COMMITTEE

1. Help the poor and needy students in education by procuring books, text books, etc. for higher education.
2. Encourage the bright students within village by distributing prizes or small scholarships at school or madrassa.
3. Help the very poor, orphans and widows in any manner possible.
4. Establish a library within the village with book collection, including Islamic teachings.

Inshallah with your support and patronage, we hope to fulfill these objectives and do much more in future.

APPEAL FOR CONTRIBUTION

• We appeal to all to donate generously towards this small but strong initiative taken up by the young residents of the village.
• No contribution is big or small; please note that even Rs.10/- contribution shall help in taking a patient from village to hospital.
• Contribution in form of Zakat, Lillah and Sadkah is accepted.
• Donors shall get a printed receipt for the amount contributed.

RULES

• Only Kosamdi village residents shall be given advantage of this fund.
• Only the needy and poor shall avail of the benefits of the fund, that too after verifying the genuineness and financial status.
• No Cash shall be given in hand. The committee shall directly foot the bills in case of hospitalization and also buy the medicine where required.
• Decision to help is sole discretion of the committee only, after proper screening of actual need.

COMPOSITION OF COMMITTEE 

• We are not attaching any importance to the composition of the committee, as we feel that this committee belongs to entire village and all residents are its members.
• We have a dedicated team of youngsters who shall be doing all the running around for hospital treatment and medicine procurements.
